How your information is handled

Last updated: 8 August 2026

Information used

When you sign in, Google provides your account identifier, name, email address, and basic profile information so EasyLog can identify your private workspace. Google does not give EasyLog your password.

Work-hour records

Your shifts, active timer state, timer entries, PDF settings, hourly rate, notes, and email-recipient preference are stored for your account. Keeping the active timer state on the server allows a running timer to continue after you close the tab or sign out. If you choose to enter them, your IRD number, tax code, and bank account number are also stored so they can be included in your PDFs. A recovery copy of non-payroll preferences may also be kept in your browser, but these three payroll details are excluded from that browser copy.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide account sign-in, time tracking, record storage, and PDF reporting. EasyLog does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, or other Google services.

Sharing and control

Your work records are not sold. Each Google account has a separate workspace. You can edit or delete individual shifts in the app and sign out at any time.
